My partner and I had an very nice four-night stay. The outdoor shower was a highlight with hot water and surrounded by beautiful pines. Breakfast was great too, especially thanks to Paulo, who treated us like family!

It wasn't cheap, but it was acceptable considering the experiences we had.

However, the hotel falls short of its 5-star claims—no gym or spa as promised. The rooms are in an old section, over a kilometer from the new facilities, with limited operational services like the restaurant and pool. Moving between sections requires either a drive or a buggy ride, which can be a hassle. The dinner restaurant was just okay, lacking the wow-factor compared to local dining options.

It was just a smart choice for a short stay in Comporta with best value. The breakfast was fresh and had nice options like homemade pastries and tropical fruits. Make sure to explore the nearby beaches as they're really beautiful.
